A big thunderstorm drenched the area as a warm front passed over here this morning; at the moment the temperature is 18C with a dew point of 17C. There are still showers around in the local hills so the chances of flying today are pretty low. The forecast for tomorrow is better, before more rain comes in on Wednesday.
BTW, I just noticed that this image is a live feed from the webcam (so the puddles will hopefully disappear)
only 13 degrees here today, but nice and sunny with low flat cu - doubt there was much happening below it though. Graham Parker flew 200km yesterday, actually had one 5 knot thermal, but generally varied between 1 knot and 3knots. The differnce between here and Slovakia is that we are having as good as its going to get for some time, whereas you will just get better each day. We'll try and practice some Razen (without the funny marks on the letters) in the meantime. Keep having fun. Andrew leaves Wednesday, Brian on Thurdsay. I'm still here!
